A: We cannot guarantee a specific time because every case is different. It depends on your current credit status. We average 50 percent of all negative items removed in the first 30 to 45 days. Our average over a period of 4 months is 80 percent of all negative items removed.
A: We force the three major credit bureaus and each original creditor to comply with federal law by forcing them to provide the documentation required for them to report a negative item on a credit report. If they cannot do so, we force them to remove the item. Most companies either do not have the information required, or they simply do not bother to respond to our demands, thus, the item must be removed. Our company follows up to make sure the item is removed.
A: No, it cannot. Once the negative account is removed it can never return, according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. However, an account can return to the credit report if it is sold to a third party collection agency. Our company guarantees,for two years, an item will not return to the credit report, even if it is sold to a third party collection agency.
A: Just about any item on the credit report is removable. The most difficult items are federal and state tax liens and child support attachments, the relatively easier items to remove are, repossessions, foreclosures, charge-off’s, medical bills, late payments, civil judgments, and bankruptcies.
A: Besides forcing the original creditors to produce the documentation required by federal law, as well as the three major credit bureaus, you are aware of every transaction that goes on in our offices that pertain to your account. This is a team effort! We send you pre-addressed, stamped envelopes with prepared letters for your personal endorsement. This allows you to see what is being sent and to whom.
A: Yes we do when it is called for, often times disputes may be best handled by going to the original creditor. When necessary, We will dispute items with Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
Q: If I pay off my old negative accounts, will they disappear from the credit report, and will my score increase?
A: No! Do not pay off old accounts just yet! They will be reported as paid charge-off’s and will do VERY little to increase your credit score. We will attempt to negotiate with the creditor and possibly have them removed, if it is paid off, there is still a possibilty to have it removed. Our company’s goal is to remove the item from the credit report completely.
Q: Do all credit items remain on the credit reports for seven years?
A: NO! Any item can be removed at any time. If uncontested, a credit account will remain on the credit report for seven years, a bankruptcy for ten years, a paid tax lien for fifteen years and an unpaid tax lien for infinity
